This artist upcycles useless objects into beautiful wall arts

Have you ever been told that you are not good in art? Maybe from a classmate back in grade school? Or a teacher from your high school? Maddy Edgar sure has. But look at what she does now for a living.

This part-time artist from Manchester, United Kingdom creates beautiful mosaics out of what could easily be considered by most as junk. Clearly, the woman is a master at upcycling. In case you have not heard yet, upcycling is the art of using everyday useless objects to create something that is of higher value. In her case, Edgar upcycles metal cogs, beads, watch parts, and charms into gorgeous wall arts.

Who says you have to be “good at art” to create and even get paid for works as lovely as these? Visit Edgar’s Facebook page to check the rest of her commissioned works.
