Daniele Barresi is a 26-year-old award-winning carving artist from Italy. He is currently based in Sydney, Australia. He started carving at the age of 7. He compares carving with magic. He explains that when he touches his knife, something is transmitted directly from his mind to his heart to his hands enabling him to come up with beautiful designs and decorations.
Barresi, who is also called The Carving Chef, carves practically anything from fruits to vegetables to soaps. His precision is out of this world it has won him several gold medals in different competitions in the international scene.
