An Internet of Things-infused home isn’t incomplete without a smart air quality monitor. And Netatmo’s Home Coach is my favorite.
We’ve covered Netatmo before (previously) and now they’re out with the Home Coach, a Homekit-compatible air-care device that actually tells you how to improve it. It sophisticatedly monitors temperature, noise levels, air quality (measured in CO2 ppm), and humidity. You can even dial back in time to see how your environment has changed via a nice, clean app. In addition, you can set different profiles, so if you’ve got one installed in a baby’s room, the device will adjust its metrics. A space-saving design makes it an elegant showpiece of sorts. For now, it’s only available in rose-gold and that’s the only gripe I have. I’d love to see a space gray or silver version! At $99.99, the Netatmo Home Coach pays for itself within days with its intelligence, elegance, and relevance for today’s smart-home builders. Check it out!
