In a series of hyperrealistic illustrations of the eye, Kit King has created a handful of wildly beautiful images.
Most of the images only feature the eye of the model. While it doesn’t show their full identity, the eyes seem to be one of the most expressive part of the body that could be illustrated. Each seems to be dark or distressed, revealing another side to the images.
“Through a focus on hyper-realism, my paintings are reflections of the ephemeral visual relationships around us. Capturing fleeting moments that affect our emotional state from a singular glance, under the aegis of a heightened sense of reality,” the artist said.
