Minimalist timepiece sculptures are unintentionally zen

The wall-based mixed media sculpture series entitled ‘Time is Now,’ by Anna Masters, shows the artist’s careful attention to objects, their arrangement, and the spaces between them.

Created from discarded timepieces, the watch and clock parts are arranged circularly, mirroring the mechanism of the timepiece‘s original function. Masters says: “Using a delicate system of nylon threads, I suspend materials within the frame or the site, creating a sense of an intangible moment, captured and frozen in time.”

Her most recent piece in the series will be exhibited alongside works by two other U.K. artists in the show Variations at “[email protected]” in London.
