‘Draw to perform’ is an international two-day art symposium, where artists from around the world gather to perform, drawing on a large scale in front of the public. This unique art event, which is a second annual symposium held in London, focuses entirely on the connection between performance art and drawing. In addition to live drawing performances, the symposium invites viewers to video screenings, talks and lectures by artists and art historians.
Many well-recognized artists took part in the symposium, including Ram Samocha (UK/Israel) who is the curator of this event, Gerald Royston Curtis (UK), Kevin Townsend (USA), and Kellie O’Dempsey (Australia) to name a few. Please see the videos from the last year’s event below.
