Automata that use simple machines to create profound actions

Japanese artist Kazuaki Harada makes playful automata that use seemingly simple movements to complete complex tasks. He studied with master automata-maker, Matt Smith, and now creates his own fun creations often incorporating figure and narrative.

In the video below, Harada demonstrates a hilariously simple mechanism that lifts a bucket of soap until it touches a tube which proceeds to blow a bubble.
