450 eaten Nilla Wafers accurately show the phases of the moon

NYC-based designer Yona Lee has created a glorious art piece that accurately depicts the phases of the moon in eaten cookies.

To make the piece, titled ‘Yummy Moon,’ Lee took bites out of the snacks and assembled them on a large scale in the shape of the Moon.

Lee’s process photo below is interesting.

She used a projection of the phases on a wall and nibbled away at the cookies, matching the shapes and attaching each one to the canvas.
