Engineer alters paper into surprisingly 3D pop-up sculptures

Peter Dahmen has made a full-time living out of being a paper engineer.

He uses the everyday material to make three-dimensional sculptures and pop-up books.

The documentary video below directed, filmed, and edited By Christopher Helkey shows the work and process of Dortmund, Germany-based Dahmen.

It is interesting to watch how Dahmen takes a flat piece of paper and manipulates it into a 3D object with curves, planes and physicality.

This might just be the coolest job ever.
