Stunning religious sculptures made with guns hide a dual meaning of love and pain

It’s not a hard topic to follow. Faith is war. Most wars are fought over religious differences, in fact, maybe all of them. It’s this silent message that San Francisco artist Al Farrow wanted to make loud. So he did it with a bang.

His stunning sculptures of temples, mosques and churches are made entirely from bullets, shell casings and guns. Entitled the ‘Reliquaries Collection’ Farrow’s message can be heard loud and clear. Through impressive juxtaposition he’s managed to bring to the forefront an issue many would rather bury. His works can be seen at the Farrow Fine Arts Gallery in San Rafael.
