There’s something particularly intriguing about mid-century films – the posters. They’re vibrant, and graciously designed with impeccable attention paid to details. But what if some of the more modern films were given this mid-century look and feel? That’s what Laurent Durieux is out to explore.
The Brussels-based designer remade a whole bunch of posters for both modern and somewhat old, but classic films like Jaws. Laurent is no rookie when it comes to design. After recognition from Steven Spielberg himself for his lovely rendition of the “Jaws” poster, he’s somewhat of a celebrity!
