Strange kaleidoscope portraits that make everyday people look like aliens

Norg Nodis is an artist and designer from Belarus.

In his latest work, Nodis has created a series of images that starts with traditional portrait photography and is strangely transformed.

He cuts out key facial features like eyes, noses and mouths and duplicates them.

Next, Nodis arranges the facial features into patterns that resemble the view through a kaleidoscope and places the pattern of diamonds and triangle shapes atop the shoulders of the original subject.

The result challenges the viewer to rearrange the pattern and find the face in the new design.
