Revolutionary headset by Sony pairs gamers with virtual reality

When was the last time you literally felt like you were inside a video game? That’s right, never! That will not be the case for long thanks to Sony, because just this past week they revealed the first ever consumer virtual reality headset codenamed ‘Project Morpheus.’

You simply put it on your head, and the sensors embedded in the headset track the motion of your skull, giving you the glorious feeling of “being there.” According to Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida, Project Morpheus had been in development for over three years and features a head-mounted display in crystal clear 1080p, a 90-degree field of view and Sony’s very own 3D audio technology that recreates stereoscopic sounds in all directions.
