An optical illusion ad hidden in the middle of the newspaper’s classifieds. Brilliant!

Colombia-based creative director Felipe Salazar has come up with one of those projects that is so simple and so brilliant that I can’t believe it has never been done before! His cleverly designed ad for Corona Kitchen appears just like a page from the newspaper’s classifieds section, but after a thoroughly confusing double-take you realize the crazy optical illusion hiding in plain sight…

The ad was designed to make it look like the classifieds sink into the flat paper and articulate a kitchen space. The space is detailed with a stove and countertop and successfully captures the attention and imagination of newspaper readers with nothing but cleverly placed typeface.
