Dutch design agency Trapped in Suburbia, has created a unique poster made with gunpowder ink that ‘explodes’ when touched. The ‘Sound Poster 3.0’ is the agency’s latest in a series of posters that attempt to merge analog and digital technologies in creative ways.
The exploding posters add a tactile excitement to experiencing the image by using gunpowder and a device that senses touch. This device sets off an “explosion” when a specific area on the poster is pressed. You get a real “bang” from this seemingly average poster!
