For the second time this winter season the infamous Niagara Falls has frozen over.

The enormous falls typically sends six million cubic feet of water hurling over the towering rocks every minute!

The nine degree deep freeze this past Monday brought Niagara Falls to an epic visual halt.

Although the water appears to be still, it is actually flowing swiftly below the surface of the ice.

Fortunately for us there were some eager photographers on the scene to document this natural phenomenon.

The images below show the falls frozen over as if stopped in mid air.
