Transparent tape says goodbye to tricky invisible edges

Nothing is more laborious than trying to find the ‘invisible edge’ on a roll of Scotch Tape. And I mean that in a big way, as in, it’s annoying! Luckily, a team of designers from Nanoin Design have addressed this problem and churned out a clever solution.

This transparent tape does not have any glue at the edges, allowing you to lift it up and pull easily. The glue-free edges are marked by thin black lines on the spool for easy identification. The tape is even environmentally friendly because it requires 25% less adhesive during production.

This simple, effective solution to a long-standing problem won the redesigned tape a 2013 Red Dot Design Award.
