Interactive light columns respond to movement and sound

United Visual Artists (UVA) is a UK-based design studio known for their large-scale light installations. ‘Volume’ was the name of a digital installation that first appeared in the garden of London’s V&A museum. This award-winning installation later traveled to Hong Kong, Taiwan, St. Petersburg and Melbourne.

‘Volume’ consists of a field of 48 luminous columns that are designed to respond to movement and emit sounds. Any visitor can weave their own path through the sculpture to create a journey in lights and music (provided by ‘Massive Attack’).
