These giant spindly balls called ‘Nuzzels’ are actually a creative solution to keeping warm while spending time outside. Architecture firm RAW Design has created these wild objects, which have a heated core that sends warmth down each colorful leg. The Nuzzels were entered into Winnipeg’s 2014 Warming Huts Competition.
They encourage users to stand in them, like clown fish in sea anemones, and even climb and jump on them to keep warm. The Nuzzels illuminate at their core for fun evening decoration.
