I would assume that most passenger airplanes get dismantled when they become outdated, but this 1965 Boeing 727 has found a luxurious retirement near the tropical town of Quepos, Costa Rica. The plane’s fuselage has been transformed into an unlikely hotel suite that looks over the Pacific Ocean.
The plane hotel, known as Hotel Costa Verde, features two bedrooms, a kitchenette, a dining space and a terrace with a stunning ocean view. It rests in the jungle on the edge of a National Park where guests can see fun wildlife just outside their tiny oval windows.
