Goofy inflatable architecture with an interior maze

In the heart of Yokohama, Japan is a temporary structure that design firm Numen call ‘Net Blow-up.’ This inflatable architectural balloon is lined with a maze of climbable nets.

Inflating the object stretches the web contained within and he Net Blow-up is born. The structure deforms and mutates with every movement of its interior users. In addition, the outer layer acts as a lighting soft-box brightly illuminating the inside.

The Net Blow-up is a part of a series of sculptures that have previously been installed in major cities such as Berlin, and Moscow.
