Global street art project asks: Where will you paste your face?

Inside Out is a global art project founded and conceptualized by mysterious French artist JR. The idea is to give everyone the opportunity to share their vision of what they stand for by way of public portraiture from anywhere on the earth.

JR’s public photo booths are located around the world and invite people to share their expressions with everyone. To date, over 100,000 portraits have been printed and pasted all over from Times Square in NYC to Ghana. It’s all about sparking connections between strangers, posing questions, and finding answers in unlikely places.

Ironically, it’s the artist whose face still remains anonymous…
