Spanish artist Jaime Hayon launched his first large-scale solo exhibition at Netherlands’ Groninger Museum last month titled ‘Funtastico’. This diverse show features a huge array of projects across various media such as ceramics, glass, wood, textiles, furniture and interior design. Hayon’s works are fun, lighthearted and embody a childlike sense of wonder. His purple hot dog rocking chair, for example, is both absurdity and genius.
This ten-year career retrospective will provide great insight to those who are new to Hayon who was voted into TIME Magazine’s ‘Style & Design 100.’
You can see more photos of his thought provoking work at his official studio’s website.
