Bright public art enhances the Brooklyn terrain

Downtown Brooklyn has been invaded by a huge brightly colored architectural sculpture by Katharina Grosse! This massive piece of street art, titled ‘Just the Two of Us,’ is constructed of painted and assembled fiberglass elements.

 Just the Two of Us was made possible by the public art fund. The fund’s director & chief curator Nicholas Baume explains their latest installation,  ‘Katharina Grosse’s hybrid approach to painting and sculpture feels very natural in the context of a public space at the center of a thriving urban area where culture, technology, and innovation intersect.’

Katharina Grosse’s piece will be on display in Brooklyn, New York, through September 14th, 2014, so head over and check it out!
