“12 Shoes For 12 Lovers” details past relationships through fashion

Sebastian Errazuriz has created a collection of shoes that embody the traits of his past lovers. The project “12 shoes for 12 lovers” portrays the designer’s lost relationships, often common stereotypes, through the styling of a powerful feminine object – high heels.

In a sarcastically resentful presentation the shoes are accompanied by a short and explicitly detailed description of the woman behind each pair of shoes. “Cry Baby Alexandra” was a lover attained as a result of a break up and “Gold Digger Alison” left the jaded artist for a wealthy man in a fancy car. You can read all of Errazuriz’s sexually explicit escapade stories at the ’12 shoes for 12 lovers’ website here.

All 12 pairs of shoes are currently on view through January 6th, 2014 in Miami at a pop-up shop for shoe brand Melissa.
