The tall, dark world of Daniel Danger’s gothic illustrations

Daniel Danger is an illustrator, painter and printmaker who works out of New England. His monochromatic illustrations are remarkable for their painstakingly intricate details and haunting, Edward Gorey-esque quality.

The sense of impending doom permeates every image. He paints a dark world where ghost children and silhouettes aimlessly wander amongst abandoned buildings and lost woods. In his eerie, dreamlike depictions, the human self is always swallowed up by the vastness of nature and man-made constructions that have become a wasteland of urban decay.

Daniel Danger runs his own production and design company based out of Boston, MA called Tiny Media Empire. You can check out more of his mesmerizing works here.
