The futuristically groovy Bubble House

The Bubble House (Palais Bulles) is the groovetastic love child of legendary French fashion designer Pierre Cardin and Hungarian architect Antti Lovag. Located just outside of Cannes, this groundbreaking achievement of eccentricity and extravagance was built from 1975 to 1989 and has already been declared a historic monument by the French Ministry of Culture.

The sheer scope and scale of the construction alone is astounding. The crazy architectural design features a spiderweb gate, spherical structures, and a panoramic lounge room decorated by contemporary interior designers. Even Austin Powers would consider this a bit out there!
