New fashion by Kenzo: Pop art meets surrealism

It’s an unexpected meeting of minds between French fashion house Kenzo and Italian surrealist magazine Toiletpaper. Both have collaborated on Kenzo’s AW13 and FW13 fashion campaigns starring actress Kinko Kikuchi and model Sean O’Pry, under the creative direction of Maurizio Cattelan, Pierpaolo Ferrari and Micol Talso.

The trippy technicolor imagery is influenced by pop art and surrealism. It is fun and daring with tongue firmly in cheek. A colorful bunch of bizarre images are featured on their line of graphic t-shirts, sweatshirts and iPhone cases. The Tumblr generation will go crazy for this. Lets hope that their working relationship will be a long-lasting one if they continue to produce such creative campaigns like this!
