Facebook introduces ‘Like’ button redesign

Facebook has introduced it’s first ever redesign of their ‘Like’ and ‘Share’ buttons since their introduction in 2010. It is an appropriate time for a facelift as they are well worn having been clicked over 22 billion times since their inception! 

This new button design flip-flops the color of the text and background bringing the the ‘Facebook Blue’ forward for a bolder look on websites. Also, the button typeface receives a facelift making it a little tighter and a little bolder for optimal noticeability over the growing number of other social icons. The new design will automatically be upgraded in the coming weeks onto sites that currently use the feature.
