Kickstarter campaign for first ever spice pen lets you decorate food and drinks easily like a pro

A Kickstarter campaign has been launched for the first ever “spice pen”. Aptly named Cinnibird, the pen will let home cooks and even children play around with food decorating. It can be used for dishes, desserts, coffee, and any other things that you can think of – only your imagination will set its limits. Food presentation has become more and more important over the past few years, even in low-end eateries and cafes. This pen makes it easy enough for untrained and non-professional people to try and decorate their own food.

Simply fill the pen with material or spice of your choice, and press the button to use and start drawing. Cinnibird can also help make meals more fun and enticing for families with little kids. It is the first of its kind in the market today. From cocoa powder to cinnamon, you can enjoy this tool by donating to the Kickstarter campaign. The team behind it promises the earliest models by March 2017.

The minds behind the spice pen are Balazs Oltvai, Reka O. Horvath, and  Alex Ugodnikov.
