‘Paradise’ turns classic painting into a satirical animated short

What’s better than viewing one of Heironymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights up close?

Why, seeing it animated in 4K, of course! Studio Smack is out with a delightfully contemporary take on Bosch’s epic painting. Cleverly titled, “Paradise,” the animation clears the middle panel of Bosch’s painting and replaces it with a population of creatures of various shapes, sizes, and often quirky appearances. This playground is filled with scenes that portray selfishness, decadence, and consumerism. According to the studio,  “They are symbolic reflections of egos and an imagination of people as they see themselves – unlike Bosch’s version, where all individuals more or less look the same.” Check out the striking video below and follow the studio on Facebook for more!
