Ellie Davies is a London-based photographer who has spent the last seven years working on her temporary installations in the woods and forests of the UK. For each of her projects, a subtle element is added to the scenery, such as clouds of smoke, painted plants and trees, and night lights, in order to highlight the dreamlike serenity of the surrounding nature.
Davies makes it her priority to cause no damage to the forests, as her installations are all removed after completion. Her overarching goal is to explore the complex inter-relationship between landscape and the individual. Check out her gorgeous altered photos below and see more at her website.
