Over 1,000 postcards make up these haphazard portraits of world leaders

It takes a keen eye to look at something, like a postcard, and instead of seeing images, see hues, shades and shapes.

In what appears to be an environment of piles of postcards, Copenhagen artist Amir Z haphazardly creates wall-sized collage portraits.

His huge portraits use upwards of 1,000 postcards to depict famous world leaders, and nearly look accidental in style.

It is this care-free look that makes these works of art so interesting.

You can find Amir Z’s rendition of George Washington, Queen Elizabeth, Obama, and more below.
