Imagine staying a few nights in Zaha Hadid’s ‘City of Dreams’ hotel in Macau, China. The exterior of the building with its exposed elastic-exoskeleton is quite stunning. The two 40-story buildings are connected by organic bridges as well as at the podium and roof. The geometric motif is continued into the main interior space with its densely networked walls.
The 1,614,586 sq. ft. space includes 780 rooms and suites, a lobby bar, gaming room, spa, sky pool, high-end restaurants, lounge and event spaces. The hotel is predicted to be completed in 2017. It will be the fifth hotel developed by Melco Crown Entertainment Limited, and will be a valuable asset in their agenda to transform Macau into an entertainment and gaming center.
