Futuristic biosphere makes underwater living possible

Due to the rapidly increasing global population, it is becoming difficult to find places to live. Sub-Biosphere 2′ is an underwater city structure concept that just might be the answer to expanding the livable habitat potential of earth.

Designer Phil Pauley says that it is “designed for aquanauts, tourism and oceanographic life sciences and long-term human, plant and animal habitation.” The structure is said to be able to accommodate over 100 inhabitants, complete with life support systems for air, food, water, electricity and other necessary things thanks to its innovative system of variant atmospheric pressures. Check out the video below for some more information on the futuristic biosphere!
