The Singaporean artist and photographer known as Qozop has created a clever photo series entitled “Spring-Autumn” that captures youths exchanging clothes with their elderly relatives. In the series the young subjects swap their fashionable outfits for conservative clothes and even ethnic costumes.
Oozop first photographs the pairs in their own clothes, and then he has them switch outfits and photographs them again. The photos are presented as mirror images and help contrast and compare the pairs. The before-and-after pictures help the viewer to explore issues of culture, age and identity. They are also just a lot of fun to look at!
