3cm is a photographer, illustrator, and sculptor with a surrealist wit. His photography in particular, juxtaposes everyday objects in a way that captures the abnormal in life. Some of 3cm’s photos require examination to comprehend what forms we’re seeing, but once the objects have registered on the brain, we’re rewarded with a new perspective.
3cm rarely shows human faces in his work, instead he uses the underlying sculptural quality of muscle and bone to create form and contrasts this with everyday objects like a banana. His work bypasses the eye and communicates directly to the brain.
