New device scans real-world colors for digital application

Do you want to mimic the color of your favorite flower or match the branding color of your printed stationary for online use? The SwatchMate is a wireless color matcher that allows you to do this seamlessly. This new device lets you to magically scan the exact color of a physical surface and then use it digitally in Photoshop later.

The design team created SwatchMate because they were “tired of not being able to interact with beautiful colors from the world around us.” The simple cube object scans a color and then sends it wirelessly via bluetooth to your smartphone or directly into Photoshop.

The Cube is now available for purchase through the SwatchMate website.
