Photographer Jimmy Nelson spent three years combing the world to bring these cultures to the forefront by documenting what many people only dream of. Nelson calls this series “Before They Pass Away.” His photos demonstrate elaborate designs and costumes that look like they could be from movie sets while illustrating a strong connection with nature.
Sometimes going the extra mile is necessary to find the truly sensational, the ornate that cannot be replicated.
