Designer Rob Jones was commissioned by acclaimed musician Jack White to design 22 posters for his 2012 tour. Each design was created to represent a stop on his tour-map. The duo has worked on a number of projects dating back to the ‘White Stripes’ days, but this project shines as one of Jones’s most noteworthy accomplishments appropriately made for one of the biggest rock stars in the world.
Visually, all of the posters possess a strong retro style with steam punk flourishes and gothic undertones. Only three colors (black, blue, and white) are used, a bold aesthetic choice that helped establish the collection of work in an iconic style.
