How was this photo created? Introducing the Panono camera-ball

This Indiegogo project aims to add to the growing collection of contemporary imaging technology with the newly designed Panono. The funny object is a sphere with cameras mounted around the exterior that you can throw in the air to create aerial panoramas of the ground below.

The ball features 36 lenses taking 72 megapixel shots as it spins back to earth. As the Panono flies the cameras fire off and automatically construct awesome panoramic photographs. The Panono is an incredible niche technology that my not be life changing, but is super cool.  You can help Panono raise the needed $900,000 for production at their Indiegogo campaign here
