Just like auto enthusiast, bike lovers enjoy the DIY mentality of fixing up their old rides. Recently, cyclists have turned to an old material to make new bike parts: wood. One designer in particular is making fancy fenders with the retro-natural aesthetic. Woody’s Custom Bicycle Fenders are hand made in Bend, Oregon from different types of recycled wood.
Each fender is signed and dated by the maker and comes with stainless steel and brass mounting hardware. Each fender is coated four times with marine-grade polyurethane in either satin or gloss finish. These fenders fit a variety of bicycles and can also be custom cut and shaped to fit most any bicycle complete with inlay and designs.
