‘Unlikely’ altered objects by Giuseppe Colarusso

Photographer and designer Giuseppe Colarusso has an ongoing series of work featuring improbable altered objects.  In the series, titled ‘Unlikely‘, he highlights random functional items which become entirely useless in his new proposed design.

Colarusso’s goal is to make the viewer stop and ponder the importance of these everyday objects. His work brings up questions of function due to their strange compositions and then makes the user appreciate the convenience in their specific functionality.

A keyboard with hieroglyphics, a square-shaped rolling pin, or two cups of coffee in a can; who would use these? His website is filled with a bunch more concepts that will put a smile on a your face!
