Designer Diana Dumitrescu, known for her devotion to modern indoor lighting, is out with a new series of work in the form of ‘Prismatic Lamps.’ The design alludes to optical prisms made of multifaceted glass. The lamps reference minimal sculpture and feature shapes void of functional reference as surprisingly specific tools.
The series offers floor, wall and pendant lamp pieces available in stark white and jet black. Each lamp gives its user the ability to adjust the panels to redirect the light in the direction they desire. The mirrored insides of the panels magnify the light coming from the bulbs for maximum illumination.
