Constellation inspired hanging lamps: ‘Starry Light’

Created from the minds of Anagraphic’s designer Anna Farkas and interior designer Miklós Batisz, the Starry Light is a series of hanging lamps that features real constellations projected onto the ceiling. This project was based on Anna’s idea to have a lamp that doubled as a piece of art.

The designers, both hailing from Budapest, were able to make a functional and decorative lamp that can project the starry night sky indoors. The half-hemispheric illumination has holes punched out of the cover, and the LED light emits it’s rays through the perforations.

Each of the lamps is made by hand and features Northern Hemisphere constellations. Starry Light is available in four hues: matte black, matte white, glossy white and pearl violet.
